Talk comments

This was a clear but perhaps incomplete talk. The talk ran a bit short, and it might have been nice if some of that extra time had been used for some other Laravel features that would be of interest to developers: Eloquent and artisan, in particular, come to mind.

A good talk about adopting better practices (and dropping some bad ones). This was an entertaining and informative talk--I definitely came away with some things I can use.

A really stand-out talk. It would work great as a keynote. I would leave out the part about it being only for beginning/intermediate developers--this talk is for everyone.

Excellent, fast-paced example of creating a simple app in Silex. Using the git tags to advance through the stages of the application made for a clean presentation. At times, I felt like I didn't have quite enough time to read the slides. I might recommend removing the hal+json stuff--while it was also interesting, it wasn't really the subject of the talk, and the time might have been better spent on some of the intricacies of Silex.

I found the talk to be well organized, but, for a conference that was stressing cross-fertilization between frameworks, there was not a lot of content that was of use to someone who was not actively developing in Symfony. Even though I use Silex, which is built from Symfony components, I didn't take away much that I could use elsewhere.

Excellent discussion of the real challenges one faces starting a business.

Very entertaining and knowledgeable presenter. I took a lot of great insights away from this talk and enjoyed every second of it.

A great talk with lots of actionable steps to improve your codebase's performance. Appreciated all of the solutions to stated problems, instead of just listing a series of "do nots". Enjoyed this a lot.

The introduction was slow -- we wouldn't be attending the session if we weren't interested in testing our code. Once past the introduction, the actual content was quite good. I'd recommend toning down the personality a bit in future presentations.
