This was a good introduction to Git for beginners. The pace could have been a bit quicker. I also would have liked to see more about how Git works internally.
Bonus points awarded for an original song performed live!
Last but not least, I'd take out gitolite & gitosis as they are archaic Git servers with no UI. In my opinion the only Git server worth mentioning (and it's worth mentioning two or three times!) is Gitlab.
Great talk Paul!
Paul, I love your animated and passionate presentation style. Your viewpoints and ways of explaining things are often helpful in me formulating my opinions and clarifying certain topics.
Great summary of 5.6 features and motivational in more than just a technical way.
This tutorial was very informative and fun. It was definitely worth coming for the tutorial day to be in this talk. Anthony's knowledge and passion on this subject come through so naturally.
Excellent tutorial. it is always nice to review design patterns and absorb others' understanding of the topic. You were very clear and concise in your descriptions. Most of your examples were very good, though I think it would be good to have a few more non-contrived examples as well.
This was the best talk of the conference so far. I really enjoyed the style and pace of presentation.
Thanks for attending folks! The slides are up (see the description above).
This was a fun tour of sorting & searching algorithms. The presentation included excellent visual models of the algorithms in action. I would have liked to see more about the history of the algorithms.
