I kinda just wandered into this talk having "zero clue" what it was really about, but I'm very glad I attended. The speaker did a great job of easing everyone into the concept and shared resources to help get you started.
Great examples sorry we were a quiet crowd.

The bucket brigade demonstration was awesome. Code samples were great for reinforcing the concepts introduced. Great intro to streams if you haven't worked with them before. I think my only problem was the sheer amount of information in the presentation - it went to time, but it was dense. Seems like it would be a great tutorial.

Learned a few more interesting details about Mongo. Also, very funny.
This was my 2nd time to attend a talk by Lorna, and I was definitely not let down. She provides a great overview of DVCS features and hosted services (launchpad, github, etc). The explanation of conceptual differences between centralized and distributed was very helpful. SVN Bridge! I'm implementing the SVN bridge when I get to the office on Monday.
