I really enjoyed this one. I took classes on graph theory in college eons ago, and thought this was a great refresher. Thanks for the pointers to specific datastores and visualizer tools.
Very interesting, but I was unclear how to get started using Zend_Form until someone asked near the end.
Fun talk about great material. Simplicity really has become a lost art, and Josh's wakeup call on the matter was lively and direct. Great job!
Nothing turns me off like the religious fervor surrounding technology choices. Tools are tools. I have been actively repelled from Git and Bzr for a couple years by evangelists trying to save my soul from the evils of Subversion.
Thanks for a comparison of the technologies, presented in dispassionate terms, so that one can actually understand what the differences and similarities are.
Travis' talk after yours was also surprisingly dispassionate, for a self-proclaimed fan boy.
Very interesting discussion... thanks.
Great content and ideas as always. Agree with previous poster - would love to see some longer tutorials on domain and service layer strategies, theories, etc. Excellent presentation!
Outstanding presentation. Great speaker. Message was relevant to developers of all levels and technologies.
Very thorough, well-organized overview of ZF with deeper forays into several aspects of it. Started out with an inspiring slide that shows all the tools/components that you'll have at your fingertips once you get past the initial learning curve. Rob obviously knows this stuff inside and out, and is a great presenter. He fielded lots of questions throughout the talk from folks of very different levels of familiarity with the material and was very thorough in his answers. There was a lot packed into a few hours. If he were doing a few days to a week of training locally on the same material I'd be there!
Interesting talk. Not sure if I'll be using Titanium any time soon, but useful information non-the-less.
Very interesting; too bad we ran out of time.
