Talk comments

I really enjoyed this talk and thought there was a huge amount of really valuable information here. A few practical examples of how these principles have affected your development over the years would have helped to drive home the points even more, but that's just a minor point. Well done and I hope to hear you speak again soon!

Great overview of auth and the myths surrounding it. I agree that this could easily have been made into a tutorial, especially as Chris was struggling to fit all of the very important knowledge into one hour. Having it as a tutorial would give the material more space to breath and perhaps allow for some practical examples.

I really enjoyed this talk. The material was thought provoking and was put together in a way that always kept the listeners attention. I'll certainly be looking very closely at using Stack middlewares in my own projects.

Terrific survey of tools and processes for projects of all sizes. Especially liked the case studies/tests/challenges at the end.

Great refresher for a topic you can never completely know. Lots of useful diagrams, but could have used more. (I wish I could remember where...)

Fascinating whirlwind tour of the latest features added to PHP. Very well presented.

Thank you for the interesting talk reflecting on the technologies that help to build webobjects that interact over the web as opposed to just web pages.
I think a remote speaker should in theory work, but I think the slow display
of the slides and the awkwardness of audience participation (questions) distracts from the presentation of the message. Thank you for trying the remote speaker aspect and I did find the material informative.

Always a treat to hear Mark speak!
Mark's talk was content-rich, with lots of useful take-aways. With a one-hour talk he successfully crammed a load of great information in!
If the timeslot was two or three times longer then it would have made perfect sense to get into demoing specific performance profiling tools along with tips and tricks for making the best use of those tools. Probably best split into multiple talks for that.

I came away with some good practical action points to specifically re-implement with my teams. I also received validation that we're already doing some good things, and it's always great to get that sort of confirmation!

Great job Mark. Don't be shy about presenting again! You're a wealth of knowledge!

Lots of useful information. By far my favorite talk of the conference. I would love to see more talks by you in the future.

I agree with more code samples. The talk was definitely well thought out otherwise.
