Good overview of SOLID principles. I think more real-world example code would have been helpful - more like the model class example, and less of the standard OOP animal examples.
Really good overview of refactoring, as well as the best order of attack. Would have liked a little deeper dive into some real code examples.
Great talk with very accessible tips you can start using right away. As always, Jason's presentation style is polished.
Great talk covering the programs / apps / toys / games / books that can help teach programming concepts to a younger audience. Very helpful in giving an understanding of what's out there, and in what ways they can be used.
A great overview, with very good pacing for a workshop. I was impressed to learn this was not just his first workshop, but first conference talk.
Enjoyed this a lot. I I had not heard of most of these tools and products, and I am now interested in ways I can bring some of these into my home. I think one thing that would have made this presentation perfect would be some kind of demo.
Very nice presentation with interesting demos. Anyone making architecture decisions could greatly benefit regardless of which vendor they use.
Nice work. Your experience in the subject matter and presentation ability really comes through. Even people using git for years could walk away with some new tricks.
This was a very interesting presentation, and the content was very useful. Marcus also has an presentation style that is easy to understand and connect with. The presentation does need a little more polish to fit the time slot better and ease the anxiety. :-)
