An enjoyable and interesting days tutorial. Sebastian covered not only the core principles and practices but also presented real world examples used in his own working practices. Giving everyone the opportunity to comment and suggest their own interpretation.
Thx. Yea It needs more structure I noticed that already when I was talking. I didn't have time to prepare.
Maybe with the next phpconference I will come prepared and have a good chat with your guys ;)
Thx for your comment
(Gave myself a 3 so I don't influence your rating :P)
Went to the talk without knowing what the subject was. When Cal opened a flex xml file, I remember thinking "oh no".
Great thing about Cal is that he can make any topic entertaining and interesting. He didn't convert me to Flexism, but I enjoyed the presentation a lot. Good way to end the day.
I had expectef a talk about a service layer between controller and model, but it turned out to be moving out the db in favour of webservices to a backend responsible for db stuff. Intetesting talk, but the flipchart was not readable.
Same as Miljar
Wish to have seen more. Slides looked very promising, but starting late and tech problems made he had far too little time. Maybe next time
Quite a poor speech, yet what has really disappointed me is the inconsistency of the contents and the weak arguments used to support some (IMO completely subjective) assertions.
Interesting, entertaining and even enlightening ... I'll have to give Git a try ;)
good & nice talk, covering a lot of ground.
Really enjoyed the opening keynote. Set the tone for a great day! Amusing and very insightful.
