Great talk, hot topic. Good intro to DDD-ish concepts, well presented. I've seen some other talks on this topic but this one is definitely the easiest to wade into.

Would've liked to see some more analysis on making design decisions, the slides had some syntax errors and maybe more references for followup reading.

Awesome poise for a first talk. The best thing about this talk was that it looked at CI not just for "run your unit tests, QA, herp derp" but as part of a bigger process within a company and how that relates to other folks around it.

The slides and pacing could use some work, maybe add some more depth but under the circumstances (assembled the previous night, first talk ever, morning of second day) a really great performance. Looking forward to seeing this guy elsewhere in the future.

Best talk of the conference, IMHO. I loved the content and the way he explored testing as a design, not QA tool, even relating it back to SOLID.

Maybe a little less about Prophecy (though it wasn't that important) and feel free to go deeper.

Lots of cool ideas, some good theory tied in with practice.

Some reviewers mention the speaker's accent but I didn't really have a problem with it, though he did have a lot of pauses.

Would've liked to see more depth though, and certainly more about PHPSpec. The talk was short and much of the opening was a too-basic refresher about TDD. Also, some slides had unreadable fading which messed with some of the visual effects.

Overall, I liked the speaker, I liked the content, I liked the direction of the talk... there just needed to be more of it and what is there might need some better editing.

Great subject, would love to see more of this type of content. The print_r example was great, loved how the "marching tokens" were shown at the top and bottom of the slides.

Still, the examples and code interaction could be clearer. The intro was too long. Speaker seemed new and nervous.

Still, I learned a lot and it'd be great to see a refreshed version of this talk again when it's tidied up and submitted elsewhere. Lot of promise!

I come to a php conference

Liked it of course

But I did not flight many hours to see this

IMO it had to be more php related

I was expecting better explanation also more mastery in test dev and prod examples. Maybe it was beginner but if you check ubermuda talk it makes for better explanation. Agree with demo was poor. And no repos to play with. You have more to deliver definitely

Paving the way and telling it how it is, think amongst the best talks of the conference

You beast good job

But just too much workshop propaganda
