In this presentation I was hoping for a practical explanation of how to implement a ANN. Instead we got a lot of explaining about Symfony console and the helpers you build, and litte info about the ANN.
If I could make a suggestion, try to minimize the Symfony part en expand your explanation of FANN and how to use it (from scratch?) in php.
I had some knowledge of Docker and had played around with it at some point in the last 6 months.
I found the presentation very chaotic. I understand that a presentation with 2 speakers is a challenge, but please, practice this some more up front.
That being said, I liked the sort intro into Docker, and I loved the demo in which you showed to run unit tests on multiple php versions.
Awesome talk
This talk made me think of my own career and where I am at the moment.
It also made me think about the people who are/where my mentors.
It was a pleasure listening to Josh, as he kept the audience's attention.
Very informative and enjoyable talk.
I really enjoyed the talk. Would love to see the slides somewhere though, wanted to be able to show them to some other people :)
Very good and entertaining!
Great tutorial. Having never really worked with HTTP caching and/or Varnish before, it gave me a good starting point for future reference. I had some problems getting the Vagrant box up and running, but after that it was fun to play with the different caching headers. Also the parts about ESI and testing Varnish were very interesting.
Thank you for the interesting talk. While the basics of writing secure applications are probably known by most developers, it was good to see some actual examples and vulnerabilities. It was more a talk than a tutorial/workshop, but still very interesting and insightful.
I didn't used the ELK stack before, after this talk setting it up was really easy. Appreciate the examples to understand how the ELK stack works.
