Ah, you said you don't want comments here, I'll give it anyway. Great talk about tough subject.
Good talk. Bit too fast for me at times. Code samples were clear and small enough. Good humor indeed! Nice slides with the hooks listed as post-it notes. The speed was a problem, you know already, but hence 3 stars.
Excellent talk. Your 9 techniques are a wonderful list. I'm aware of most of them and am glad to see this information at a technical conference.
Great intro to Phing, really good depth/coverage. I thought there were a few jokes that people should've laughed at way more — maybe they were anti-jokeites.

Fantastic talk. The perfect balance of humor, general concepts and code examples. Aaron is obviously a practiced speaker.
This was an excellent talk. Joel nails several points which are essential to being a developer. Always learning. I really appreciated the thorough information.
Learned a lot from this talk, but since the talk was pretty MySQL-specific anyway (also Maria/Percona) it would've been nice to get some more specific info about basic tuning my.cnf params for a web developer. As it stands, this talk could definitely fit into a single session.
