Talk comments

Enjoyed the mix of history and seeing what's coming up! Practical examples of how zf2 code might look were good too. Robs enthusiasm is contagious.

I agree, was the perfect way to end the weekend.

was a good little talk reminding us that while learning new things is great, if we don't share them with others and get involved then we haven't really learnt anything...

really enjoyed the social, wasnt overly impressed with the food but that wasnt the reason I was there...

Met some really interesting people, and had a good natter and few beers, I wish I could have stayed a bit later but last train home had the final say, so next year I think I'll stop in town somewhere...

working for a hosting provider myself, I could relate a lot with what Thijs was saying, so I really enjoyed this talk and I agree with Eli above, this should have been on the main schedule. I think an invite to PHPNW11 is in order.

I look forward to hearing from Thijs again at a future conference.

interesting talk, and will definitely be installing it on a box to see how it compares to our usual setup, especially as a streaming server.

I agree with the comments above about the presentation, but that will improve with experience.

I enjoyed this talk, presented very well and the live demonstrations were really useful, especially for me with no prior knowledge of ZF.

it didnt do enough to convince me that ZF is the future or that I should go install it when I get to work tomorrow... but thats not the point of the talk. Its given me the knowledge needed so I can go setup a basic implementation myself and have a play.

cheers Kat, really enjoyed it.

I found this talk very useful indeed, more so than some of the sessions from the "main" part of the conference.

walked away with some very good ideas and a few changes planned to our cms I think.

presented very well, albeit a bit quiet at times and disrupted briefly by the workmen next door, but Michael didn't let that interrupt him or slow down the momentum of the talk.

I agree with the comments about this talk being an excellent choice for the keynote. The passion for the subject was clearly expressed and the clarity of the speaking was very good.

The topic and the information used was good.

as part of a team that doesn't do any kind of version control on our databases other than hierarchical backups, I was really looking forward to this talk and I wasn't disappointed.

Some good ideas on how to implement a basic version control system and some tools we can use to achieve it.

well presented and got a lot out of this talk.

like GingerDog has said above, I didn't feel I came away with anything that I didn't already know/use so not too helpful to me personally but some really good advice given and presented very well.
