Very interesting points but felt it drifted a bit at times. It has inspired me to think to look into this further.
You guys asked for comments so here goes:
The only thing of note you mentioned that wasn't already mentioned by Rasmus is the reference counting, opcodes, and startup/shutdown cycle.
Sadly I already knew those things... so this talk wasn't earth shattering for me.

Confident, well- prepared speaker who gave us a good run through the workings and installation of Phing - can we have the link to your slides?

Good talk, would have liked higher tempo to make room for more in-depth examples or combining it with practices on unit testing.
