A good introduction into Vagrant and virtualisation. If only there was a bit more time to show more... maybe a bit of a live demo. Good talk in general, could be turned into a really interesting workshop, or maybe extending into showing a few more complex use cases.
This keynote could be very good... if not the lack of consistency. I was often very confused and could't make it out when Martijn was serious and when he was joking. It actually turned into a bit of a rant at some point and that when he lost my attention.
On the other hand, he finished big style with a great conclusion that got me thinking.
This talk needs improving and after that it can be a very memorable and useful talk.
The panel clearly lacked an agenda and they guys lost my attention after the first few minutes. The twitter board only made the things worse dragging audience attention away from the topic.
Very interesting topic, but unfortunately lacked a bit of passion. I loved all the real life examples which I found very useful. It definitely gave the audience a bit more perspective into actually what is involved when it comes to refactoring a legacy system.
It can become a great topic for a conference, Michael just have to improve in terms of making the talk more passionate and the slides more interesting to catch the people attention.
One of the best talks of the conference. Great content, great slides, very passionate speaker. I always enjoy listening to Marcello.
It was a good talk, I only wish Sara would have a bit more time to go through the details. It was the first time I have seen Sara talking, but she definitely delivers big style. And yes Sara, we need the new book. Tomorrow if you don't mind ;)
Things to improve? Stop copy/pasting content on your slides LOL
Ian delivers as usual. Great, passionate and very knowledgeable speaker. Great topic and I wish I will have a chance one day to play with event processing on a scale he talks about!
Very good keynote. Definitely a great entry into the conference. While it's not a rocket science we always forget how to make each other lives easier.
A few points: I believe the beginning was a bit too long, while the examples were great and made me laugh so much, at some point I started to wonder where is it all heading to, as it barely touched on a technology. I was worried that there will be no conclusion.
Oh how mistaken I was. There was a conclusion, and it was an amazing finish.
Aral is a great and very passionate speaker. And he knows what he is talking about.
I found this keynote quite funny at times. However, I struggled to work out when he was being sarcastic and when he was making a serious point.
Quite good talk, however it could use much more of examples on usage of the Service Manager and other aspects. As actual live talk it could have more "in between" slides explanations. In any way, Enrico did good job.
