Good keynote, similar to one that I've had been to previously but with some improvements. The ending was not that good with an attempt to reach a more emotional side of the audience that ended up sounding exaggerated.
A very good talk, very focused on the technical side. As usual Rowan engaged the audience perfectly.
A very entry point talk about CI, with some issues related to testing good practices that can lead developers not familiar with test driven development and emergent design to conclude that testing is not very useful.
Very insightful talk and very hands-on. Will the slides be available?
Pretty good introduction to the MVC model in ZF2. Don't like to be critical when someone isn't speaking in their native language but it isn't ideal when discussing MVC for the speaker to pronounce the work "module" and "model" exactly the same!.
Great talk by Beth. I was a bit concerned initially that this talk would be too low-level as I know a bit about usability already. The talk really developed as it went on though with good practical examples and insights and I took away some really good ideas.
Great into to Unit Testing. As one of the, "know I should but don't have the time/think they're too hard" people that Harrie mentioned then this talk has definitely given me the confidence and practical examples I need to get started with unit tests. Second time i've seen Harrie talk and he's an engaging and confident speaker.
The speaker clearly knows his stuff but this was far too high-level for me and didn't really cover what I was hoping to take away from the talk - namely actual problem resolution. I think time management was clearly an issue also and this made it even harder to grasp some of what was talked about as there was no time to devote any real detail at any stage.
Good talk from a first time speaker and a great introduction to Vagrant - clearly a developer from the design of his slides though!
As usual with Ian's talks, it was very well delivered, very technical and interesting.
