It was an interesting discussion, but I would give two points of advice: (1) don't tell me, show me, and (2) add a take away for the audience.
Good luck with the rest of your AI project.
Don't be afraid to show yourself. You did good!
The slides were minimalistic, but I found the presentation a little bit messy. I think you can do better when you're more relaxed :-)
My suggestion would be to lower the pace of the presentation. There was a lot of information in there, of which relatively much was assumed to be known. For me, we stepped over some things, like the tasks and the variables parts a little too fast.
Nevertheless the content was good!
Nice work reworking the code. That was insightful refactoring, which is directly applicable.
I've used Stack in production, but still this talk was informative enough :)
Talk was funny, and for me as a complete newbie, visualizing it was good for understanding.
Live demo! With live errors! Good talk.
I think most of the people above mentioned it already: Good overview, some pointers on how to get the max out of it would have been nice.
The talk was decent and well-structured. However, the amount of things covered was highly unsuitable for a slot this short - a workshop would be way better. There were also a couple of factual errors - e.g. goroutines are *not* necessarily equivalent to threads, which is a very important point to cover even for an intro talk.
