Would have been great to see some real implemented uses for it, otherwise it was good too watch (even if I din't get the starting joke for about 5 minutes :) )
Great talk, only bad point I would say is that the beginning scenario's were a touch confusing; it took me a little while to get what was going on.. Other than that; it was great!
Loved it just the right speed and inspirational tone for a keynote.
The presentation colours worked well in Antwerp, Paris, Verona and London, but here I have to admit it was a real mess reading the screen and this is really a bad thing! Sorry dear attendees for this dummy error. I'm going to fix that for next time, using high contrast colors.
@Marcel This is an advanced and in depth course, hence the "102". Slowing down the pace and skipping the last couple of data types would have made this talk a bit too basic ("101") IMO.
Great speaking and slides. Technical but still digestible in a warm room!
Excellent well informed introduction.
Fantastic, and given a lot to think about when I get back to the real world.
Nice intro into the different components, he was obviously very nervous but eventually the message got trough.
Interesting talk... It seemed like a lot of it was "Ooh I remember this time" which got a bit confusing towards the end when christian was about to move back, but didn't, I liked the way you switched attention by moving on the screen, and there were some good points to the talk, overall well done.
Always enjoy Derick's style of delivery. I particularly enjoyed the bit where he whipped out vim and added further examples to that weird thing he uses for slides.
