Great session, learned a few new things.
Cory, just one thing: take care of your tools for presenting. It looks a little sloppy if you display your multi-display. But for the rest, good session.
I would have like to see more interaction with PHP/Node from a code standpoint, but as a total Node n00b I feel like I got enough information out of this talk to start investigating and using node for my own projects. Your speaking rate and volume was good, the slides were designed well too. More PHP/Node examples and I think you've got a winner!
Found a lot of great information about how different personality types interact during meetings. I would be interested to know how this meeting structure works in practice. In concept, it seems like it'd be very productive. Good talk!
Awesome talk, i really appreciate the real time code examples.
Great panel, learned a new approache to web services.
I liked the energy and feeling behind this talk, there were a few times where it seemed like some of the responses to question were a little dragged out. Good key note
Amazingly, Ben was able to give a pretty comprehensive overview of the Magento architecture in a brief whirlwind talk. He was right that it was a "Magento firehose", but I feel like I got a decent high-level understanding of the codebase in a short time. Good job.
Great list of the new features in php 5.5. Generators were very confusing, but Davey did a good job of explaining.
I like the slide layout that he is using and may steal that idea in the future.
A bit dry. The material did provide a good overview, without providing any magic "bullets".
Good presentation, covered some nice tools such as behat, mink, and selenium2. Seriously though, I agree, if you don't learn CSS selectors you're gonna have a bad time.
