Talk comments

I joined in expecting a talk about modern php but the history seemed to take up more then half the time. It helped that Ben speaks well, but I would have been happier with a higher percent of the talk relating to modern php.

A good look at the history of the PHP community without the usual ragging on magic_quotes and register_globals. A passionate, eloquent speaker, gets the audience excited about whats coming next. Thanks!

Great insights into the mind of a PHP community leader (if not the central figure). Not sure how to balance out all of the "frameworks suck" chatter. Maybe some deeper insights could be shared ...

Thanks for the engaging talk. Lots to take away and review.

Talk was a bit long. The content was somewhat interesting but the style of presentation was hard to digest.

Lots of mainstream views on testing. As a testing expert (and evangelist), I was expecting a bit more detail and some additional insights that I haven't heard in other sessions on testing. Since this is the last time he's giving the talk ...

Needed more a tie-in to PHP for me. The first two-thirds were too much of a retrospective. The goal of exposing attendees to more than just pure-play PHP talks is great, but as a keynote, I want to understand PHP's journey to the enterprise.

Good talk. Well organized presentation.

This was a great talk about a really tough subject. Defining enterprise is very difficult. I think the talk could be tightened up a bit to make the points more clear, but all in all, I really enjoyed the humor and interesting discussion.
