Sure makes you think about coding in the future, gonna scratch the back of my head when I want to use array_* functions ;)
I kinda expect it will create overhead for you app, instead of easing the I18n for you... Too bad the plugin is not yet ready for sf1.4 and Doctrine... But will definitely have a look at this! Since it seems like one of the few examples (plugins) in storing your translations in the database! And it's support for translations in your lib and actions seems great. What about messages (email)?
So thanks for sharing and pointing it out!
@caponica that's my question too :)
Can't agree on mr anonymous here! Usefull approach on how to debug and tune your application! Great talk! For sure gonna take a look at the mentioned links!
You did a great job in make use again more enthousiastic in supporting the community!
Sorry to say but this presentation was kinda useless on this conference. Althought there were some Windows users, I think the most don't use any Microsoft products on their servers... so kinda missing the whole thing here...
Just changed from Propel to Doctrine on a new project, but already can't wait to try out Doctrine 2 for real! Keep up the good work!
Great presentation of what to expect of D2, after first using Propel I kinda got used to the generated model classes, good thing that coming!
It would have been better if there was some more graphic support in the talk, accompanied with the lack of english pronounciation it was hard to follow, and not quite as interesting as I hoped it was! But thanks nevertheless!
Really interesting, sure gonna take a look at this one. Just started a new project with Doctrine, so great timing!
Great presentation Kris, very useful practical information. Just needed that! Thanks for sharing!
Maybe you should give you the nickname Dustin 'Niagara falls' Whittle, cuz hell you can talk fast on technical matter!
But great presentation, and very cool to point out what Yahoo thinks of some issues / parts! Too bad the two ysf* plugins that are available on the symfony site don't go further then sf1.1. Thanks!
