Definitely the best presentation on SymfonyCon. Perfectly executed - not a word of hesitation and covering all the good architecture 101 bases like a champ :)

i am still unsure whether it is sane to do this, or if people should just use java or something like erlang when building such a system. but the presentation was really good, got an idea of what is currently possible and where the limits are.

Very good introduction to the world of Symfony. I think that everyone who wants to start being a better developer and give Symfony components a go should see this presentation. Jakub masters to perfection his signature move - prerecorded coding (aka "no hands" :D)

great talk, and i think it was right to first really explain what the problem is. liked the point of the first part (if i got that right) that we should not overengineer things and do the simple thing if it is good enough for the situation.

Quite good for me, maybe not perfectly executed but you could see that Marie god stressed in the begining because of technical problems - so that probably made too much impact. Nevertheless good content and a fine comparison between ACE and voters.

Perfectly executed. Perfect balance of abstraction and details. Really enjoyed the talk even though it was the first one in the morning. Bernhard was really encouranging when he spoke of helping and contributing to forms, good job!

The presentation was good and I enjoyed the talk. Only thing is I didn't really get the point in having a network of mentors. From my point of view if Drupal contributors would have a real open source experience (which could be delivered by github) then there would be no need to "welcome" anyone to the community since everyone could feel welcome themselves. But as Cathy said I guess it's a work in progress to get there :)

I have seen the slides for this presentation before (previous version probably though), but I must say they totally don't do justice to Kris' performance. Perfectly executed, I was totally focus the whole time. Loved the sense of humour and how you can speak about heavy things in a lightly manner :) Great job Kris and congrats on the award - fully deserved.

Presentation was very good and the execution was spot on. Nevertheless I've missed some real life stories because most of the stuff felt like common knowledge or at least things that are intuitive but maybe needed to be said explicitly. Congrats John, good job! :)
