Great talk! Too much information to process all at once, so I'll have to go through the slides a couple more times :)
Most of the structures I knew about, but never used it. Seeing some examples was actually quite helpful. You where a bit nervous but still the talk was very good. Your presenting skills exceed those of a few speakers I've seen that have more experience. Really good !
I'm with Miljar on this one. Certainly a highlight for the conference for me. Thanks for the ideas, Eli :)
It was nice to see REST explained in great detail. I think it would've been nice to actually demonstrate some stuff like accessing REST services with Zend_REST_Client and perhaps the benefits of being layered.
All in all, nice talk.
Not sure how anyone expected a tour through the waybackmachine to be interesting for backend developers. Or, seeing the way it was done, even for frontend developers. Most certainly sub-par.
Really enjoyed this talk, lots of new info - even on software I'm already using.
Good talk, very informative. Maybe a bit too much for a single talk (explaining non-relational databases, giving a complete overview of the current options plus usage examples, that's quite a lot to stuff in one session).
Good talk, smooth presentation, excellent content. Would have liked a bit more depth concerning deployment (especially DB deployment), but the part about branching and release strategies was very helpful.
Awesome presentation! Pace, structure, depth, humor, everything was spot on. Plus of course tons of relevant, eye opening information. Thank you.
I'm glad I attended this talk. Dustin showed some very nice things they are doing at Yahoo! and helped me confirm that I'm doing stuff with the right tools. Shame this was only a one hour session. I've been using Firebug and YSlow for ages now, just never figured to check some of the other stuff Yahoo! does, until now. Thanks Dustin!
