Talk comments

Missed the php aspect as well, but nice talk on html5.
I was surprised there was no reference to http://caniuse.com/

Sebastian made very good points that everyone should be reminded of now and again, but the way he presented it was a tad boring; most of the talk he was just reading from a sheet of paper. That made the talk a lot stuffier than it could have been. He really does know his stuff though, which is nice.

I found it kind of weird he started out with "I wanted to talk about this, but instead I will now talk about that" and it looked as if he didn't really want to [but would have liked to give the presentation he initially had in mind].

Quite some references to scrum, and since I don't know scrum it was not really to follow what he was talking about sometimes.

I would have expected a talk on agile wrt php, but this was more generic. That may have been my fault though.

Very nice presentation. David really knows his stuff and it shows. Throws in a joke every now and then which keeps the air light while still being very informative.

Too generic. Some of the stuff he said (like what kind of searches there are) I could have also looked up in the manual.
Also, giving a list of "maybe you can use it then" (maybe being the operative word here) without giving any definitives as to when I really should use it doesn't really help me a lot.

Other than that is was an okay overview of Solr.

Very good talk. Enjoyed it from the start to the end!

poor content. the first part was very boring with that trivial sql. all this could be presented in one phrase "we have an admin panel and we can create/delete/enable/disable users and databases". the last part was more interesting.
