From a client and management perspective this talk was really good. I can understand that from a developer perspective the content was a bit shallow. But nevertheless... The talk and product sold itself. I really need to be looking into Codeception!
Good speaker, good subject, good presentation.
Very good speaker; good looking slides with the right amount of code; and while we've been using Nginx for a few years - this was very informative on it's possibilities.
The presentation was way too fast, both in information AND words per minute. It was very hard to follow at times.
It seemed the speaker was very knowledgeable, but couldn't get his point across.
Funny all the way, and his journey is *so* recognizable I had my hand up more time than not. Awesomely inspiring. In fact, I could not resist acting on the spot.
The speaker was talking a bit fast, bit otherwise I also wasn't impressed with the talk. While we're not using Vagrant and Chef/Puppet/Salt, there wasn't much new on *what* it does - and a lot (especially on the slides) on how to configure stuff. I'm pretty sure I already forgot most of that info by the time we got downstairs.
Also, the talk was specifically about Vagrant/Chef and that should be reflected in the title. We expected at least a couple of tools in the "toolbox".
Very well presented and gave a simple and easy to use set of tools to setup your own workers.
Having a basic understanding of language design in general and that of php in particular, i had hoped this talk would be a bit more in-depth. Anthony is a great speaker though.
Absolute and rock-solid talk about the proxy pattern, from someone who's *obviously* pushing it to new levels.
Could do with a bit less evangelism. Good talk though.
