I've seen Kevlin Henney a few years ago and his talk was as left-field then as it was today. Concepts from different era's and disciplines are combined and used to force new insight. I firmly believe that everytime someone has the chance to see Kevlin talk on any subject but decides not to go, God kills a kitten.
Enjoyed both talks of the speaker. But this one was the best for me. And some bonus points for the rm -rf / :)
Great job for a first talk! Enjoyed every bit of, especially the live deploy :)
I consider myswelf as a python noob, but I could follow the talk without any problem. Django acts a lot like Symfony2. Also the Twig template engine is inspired by Django. Altough I'm not convinced to switch to Django yet, I certainly gonna give it a try.
The talk itself was wel presented.
Great subject, well explained. Examples sometimes a bit difficult to follow.
Great talk.
Very interesting talk, made an abstract subject easy to understand. Also the explanation of stable vs unstable etc. was very interesting.
Good speaker. Learned nothing new exactly but I was pushed to implement more of the tools, and the tools where explained sufficiently.
Absolutely the most pleasant surprise of the whole convention. Marcello is *hilarious* while still driving home his message, and the message itsself is also very interesting. Being coached ahead instead of pushed back by your testing framework is very very interesting. Loved it!
It was difficult to follow because of the amount of information that was told in a to short amount of time.
The speaker himself has a lot of knowledge about the subject but he could not keep my attention.
