Talk comments

Good informative talk.
You do tell too often "what comes next". There is no need for that, we will find out within 45 minutes. The amount of time is short, so don't waste it on an agenda.
I also agree with Robin that I live deployment from a conference should be no problem if you trust your deployment strategy. Given the fact that Capistrano aborts when the connection fails, the worst that could have happen was that your deployment just stopped and nothing would have changed on the server.

Next time: live deployment to production demo!

Nice advanced overview of what is possible with Nginx.
Some om the shown features could have included a warning that it might not be a really good idea to do it.

Great talk with good real life examples that people understand.
It's also good you showed clearly that it is more important to deliver something that works, than something that is completely reflects a specific specification (like REST).

Next time though: more zombies!

Inspiring and recognizable.
It was lacking a bit of speed at times though. And the jokes were a bit forced at times.
It also felt like the speaker had to think what to say each time a new slide came up.

Talk was lacking a bit of a message.
I was expecting more about architecture and got more or less "SOA". Which was disappointing.
Didn't really hear something new or with a different angle.

There is a lot of knowledge for sure, but conveying the knowledge to a public is problematic.
The talk appeared unpracticed or not well prepared. There was probably too much information crammed in the 45 minutes.
When using an "alternative tool for slides", make sure how to use it and where to put your mouse to show on your screen what you want to show.
Lots of parts were missing the explanation, so I'm still guessing on what caused the slow queries.

Good talk, lots of useful information.
The loads of extra functionality that comes with Nginx was a bit hidden though. But that is what you get when comparing only a specific feature.

Good talk with lots of useful information.
I was hoping for a bit more detail at moments. Perhaps pointers on where/how to find more information on the web might be useful, as there is not much time to include it in the talk itself.
