Talk comments

This was by far the best talk of the conference for me. Very well presented, the talk was clearly structured and "made sense" from the start. Hard to believe that this was his first appearance at a major conference.

Just one minor improvement: Get rid of all the PHPStorm specific parts that did not add any value to the talk and sometimes was a bit irritating. Create a separate talk where you can show all of your PHPStorm skills ;)

Interesting insights on how design principles which we usually see in the context of classes and class design can also be seen in the context of "inter-application" communication. Very well presented.

I was hoping to learn a bit more on how to create an neural network in PHP. Unfortunately the main focus seemed to be the Symfony Console application which was a bit sad. Maybe split the talk into 2, one focusing on the neural network problem, the other focusing on the Symfony Components.

Very inspirational talk to open the conference with. Thank you.

Very well structured workshop. Gave some good insights on how to "do" ES. Sometimes I got lost in the code as there was much to do / to see but I guess that`s a general problem of the topic. Both presenters did a very good job on explaining the bits and pieces behind ES and CQRS.

interesting and useful, but got boring in the middle part where he was to much focused and getting into details on his own experiences.
And although I agree to some extend, I also think there should be some nuance in the message that everybody in the business does everything for themselves primarily.

I'd like to echo the comments made by Lucas and Remon. Nice to hear about whats it's like to be the maintainer of an open source project.

I liked the delivery, although not the most polished it was heartfelt and authentic.

Thanks for your continued hard work, try not to burn out! :D

Really enjoyed this talk. Some of the maths went over my head but hey!

I think the talk was really well placed in the timetable. The final talk before the closing keynote, an interesting story told by someone very good at speaking. It felt like a nice end to the conference.

I liked the machine demo and the interactive slides. The audience participation was appropriate and well managed by the speaker. A tough feat to pull off!

I enjoyed the talk, I think I was definitely the target audience, someone new to varnish. I liked the VCL examples and the transition from general caching to varnish specifics in each section.

Some constructive criticism: Transitions between speakers were awkward. I think two microphones would have helped.

Awesome. Inspiring starting point for the conference, it has kept me thinking about it since then.
