I had the wrong expectation from this talk.

I thought we were going to dive into some extension code and see how we could create our own php/mysqlnd extension.

Anyway it was very interesting to learn about the existing extensions we can use for our mysql use and how they can improve things for us.

Very interesting since I've never worked with ansible before.

Its nice to see ansible takes such a simple approach what makes it probably very fun to use.

Smart to use screencasts to avoid 'live' issues :)

Excellent talk about value objects. Something we're definitely going to use in our applications.

Very well deliverd, very clear and good to follow the idea and how we can benefit.

I'm not sure if we will be using this in our applications soon, but the talk was very good and informative. I learned a lot.

Very nice introduction into native extension building.

I found it was very well structured to get us started building our own extension.

On the other hand, the issues some 'mac' users had could be mitigated by providing a virtualbox with the linux build environment needed and a note there are some quircks to be resolved to use it with clang.

Funny and informative talk about how developers think, how they can solve problems better and how to become a better developer.

Hey Thijs, I'm sorry I'm going to have to disappoint you: You wanted something to improve about this talk and I haven't got anything I can think of. It was just plain excellent. Really nice slides too.
