The guys managed to get some interesting discussions going on pretty quickly. The issues were well thought out and the slides prepared equally well, even if maybe the titles were a bit too broad.
Stefan does a great job of talking about stuff that's difficult to talk about, difficult to recognize and difficult to admit or ask help for. Spreading the word does help.
There are many things to take away from this talk.
Josh, even though he was the opening keynote, must've done the best talk of the conference already. I know, risky statement as the conference isn't over, but Josh killed it.
Great points on mentoring and mentee-ing. Thanks, I learned from this.
Really great workshop with a lot of content. Quite liked having too much content and being able to take a vote on what to cover.
Great talk. I have thought about temporary models for building up to an artefact. I'm only still wondering how this would technically work if you look at CQRS and event souring. Those the temporary is also an aggregate root?
Great talk with good and easy to understand examples.
Broadly good advice given here that devs should be following more :) also enjoyed the squats at the start, nice :) For 5 stars, I would've liked to have heard more about some more extreme techniques for defensive programming that have been mentioned recently, e.g. declaring classes final, removing setters, no "optional" dependencies etc. Otherwise, I enjoyed, thanks
Good advice but not detailed enough for my liking. What was covered was presented well but ran quite short. More in depth and more information would make this much better.
I can't imagine a talk getting more informative (and fun) as this.
