Talk comments

I really enjoyed this talk. The presenter was knowledgeable, well-prepared, and entertaining.

Started off slowly, but a strong finish. I think it would be better if he had talked less about the past and more about the future. He had some great insights about the prevalence of PHP, WordPress and JavaScript. Smart dude.

I really liked the presentation, but I would have liked it better if he showed more code.

One of the best talks! She clearly distinguished the features of both Bootstrap and Foundation and most amazingly without being biased towards either one. The distinctions of who might be best to use either one was also spot on and very helpful. As a backend developer looking to pickup some UX tips (and have used Bootstrap in the past) I think I have more and more reasons to a) continue using Bootstrap and b) to check out Foundation and some of the uses it may have for me for various projects.

I enjoyed the first half-or-so of this talk. The comparison between SOAP - RPC - REST helped with context. This talk was more grounded in specifics than other REST talks I've seen, which I really appreciated.

However, I think it would have been stronger without the Zend content. I would have preferred more about how to design an API in a platform agnostic manner. It was a lot of dense code to look at when I don't use or intend to use Zend.

As a svn elder but a git newb, I enjoyed the first half of this talk. Once we hit merging and rebasing, I got lost, but that's alright. Everyone else in the audience seemed to be digging it, and you can't learn everything in one day.

I was nervous when Matthew said much of the talk was going to be on the command line, but it actually worked out great. He was really well prepared and everything flowed well. Looking forward to watching the video once I get a little more experience under my belt.

Awesome talk! Thanks so much for giving this talk! I learned a lot.

Hey guys. I sincerely apologize for what happened. I was trying to make sure that nobody came out of the talk confused, but it had a different effect. I practiced this talk at several local user groups and I was able to complete it in 65 minutes or less. Anyway, I'm sorry ... I feel extremely terrible.

I wish Jon had more time to show us more code. He said he did a bad job but I think otherwise. He needed more time. Thank you...
