Rob's huge depth of knowledge in this area and interest are evident as soon as he starts to speak; at the same time this talk was so accessible I could follow and learn a great deal despite having never wielded Zend in anger - and that combination is not easy to pull off.
Great subject for the keynote, really good pace of delivery too. However, Lorna's use of high rising terminal can make her seem uncertain of the points she is making, which slightly undermines her delivery.
Wish I'd gone to this talk :-( reviews sounded excellent.

Didn't seem very interactive (with the audience). We were tired and somehow it seemed to drag.
Nice ideas and well presented. Had been hoping for a nice silver bullet but there wasn't one.

Great relaxed style of delivery - was hugely surprised to find this was Ryan's first presentation of this kind! The use of beachPHP to demonstrate his examples was very effective, and it's great to see someone with the confidence to cut code in front of a live audience.
