Talk comments

An interesting informative talk. Raised some interesting points to consider with regards to architecture that I'd never thought about.

It wasn't too hard going and technical. Glen made the talk humorous which was just what I needed after the previous two awesome but heavy going talks.

I think the talk was great I learnt a lot about what is in the latest versions of PHP, because honestly I hadn't kept myself updated. Davey clearly had a lot of experience on the topic - Which showed even more with his great answers in the Q&A, which filled out the rest of his slot when he finished the talk early.

I think it is great when a speaker can anticipate the crowd so well so they know about how much time they will need for questions because there were a lot of them, which meant even more interesting unplanned content got into the talk.

I thought this was a good talk. The content was informative and it covered all the basic points that a person considering contributing to open source should be thinking about.

The human element of the talk was refreshing. The talk was based on the speakers own experience which highlighted how beneficial open source projects can be in improving not only technical skills but also social skills, improving confidence and finding yourself within a community.

It was clear that the speaker was inexperienced and nervous but managed to produce a clear, proficient talk.

My favourite talk from this year's conference. Internationalisation and localisation often cause issues and intl seems like a great step forward. I want to use it now. The speaker was clear and gave a concise introduction into the subject, with some great examples.

Excellent talk, learned a lot of new tips & tricks as well as tools to apply to our SF2 projects.

Good talk, I do appreciate that were shown a few ZF2 dark corners.

Brave talk, one of the few talks where code was presented.

Really good talk even that it wasn't only about Symfony.

All, thanks for the great feedback, it is much appreciated.

To anyone who was expecting a lower-level introduction, for your own sake and the sake of future speakers whose talks you attend, I can only suggest that you pay closer attention to the talk abstract instead of just the title. In this case, it was made explicitly clear that some familiarity with Angular would be expected.

I'll certainly consider expanding the earlier parts of the talk to accommodate people who are completely unfamiliar with it, though.
