Talk comments

Good talk on a neglected topic. Particularly liked the parts about the pcntl extension and managing threads from within PHP itself. Yet another thing the conference has whetted my appetite about!

Nathaniel: I think you make a good and engaging speaker, although you seemed to briefly lose your footing about two thirds of the way in, and the talk became a little confused and umm-and-ahhy momentarily. During that time I noticed you didn't engage the audience with eye-contact. It might have helped to have taken a deep breath and tried to just get back on a human level with us all? I'm sure such brief lapses are par for the course though, and you recovered well. Overall a good strong talk, thank you.

Very good talk. I would prefer more examples of how you can actually contribute to open source though.

This talk didn't work for me. It felt like it was aimed at business leaders and was targeting (on the whole) the wrong audience. I felt the speakers tone/pitch also needs a little work as it felt quite monotone in places, this makes it harder to digest the knowledge given.

Good effort for getting on the stage though dude, I know that takes some balls!

Delivered well, I particularly liked the advice to include a transaction id so it's easier to trace the full debug route.

Cap and column slides could have done with a bit more explanation as I struggled at these points.
Slides 62:65 were great at summarising differences.

Very clear and I felt the questions after the presentation were answered thoroughly.

Good overview of some useful sys tools.
