Enjoyed the talk, was presented in a fun and informal way, and I'll be checking out the Saffire project.
I enjoyed; there was little here new for me, but it was useful to confirm we are heading in the right direction.
Thank you for some practical insights! After your talk I felt that I have to improve my own logging ;)
Even if everybody has already worked with date/time/timezones in PHP it was very interesting to get more background information. Especially the very exotic examples like switching timezones, half-hour-offsets, etc. were very exciting.
Since the background was "real world" - I would like to have more "real world" php examples. Therefore just 4 thumbs ;)
Great talk. I hope the technical glitches don't get removed from the video when posted online. A good example of how to stay cool under pressure!
Enjoyed the inclusion of philosophy, and real-world design and craft in the talk.
Sorry for slight OT but apparently the biggest problem with Raspberry Pi is SD card io. Processes wait, take valuable ram and do nothing. Soo.. Why not try the new React project? And maybe even compare it to (please don't stone me) node.js?
Very very entertaining talk and I was happy to see at least someone using a Linux terminal :).
I'm not an AWS user yet but this talk showed me how easy it is to do it. Thanks
A good talk. We already use Phabricator (inspired by Scott MacVicar's talk last year) but this took it to a whole new level. The idea of using tools other than 'php -l' to check your code before pushing it to review is a great concept and one which we are adopting.
Sebastian is a very engaging speaker and he even had a cool 'Angry Nerds' T-shirt.
A really good talk which has inspired me to get involved!
Really enjoyed this talk, I will definitely be looking at using Behat in our organisation as soon as I get the time (current estimation 2014).
