I wasn't able to attend the whole talk but what I did see was solid. Good tips about framing the issue to be palatable to management. I'm going to have to look up that blog series now. Hopefully I didn't overpower the discussion 8^)
Thanks so much for the encouragement, everyone! If you'd like more details on our specific API project, we'll be blogging it. We already have a couple posts up you may find useful:

@Matthew D: thanks for meeting with me later in the conference to clarify your comment.
@David B: I've given this one a few times, and I think it started out as a story but then changed to include more details on what hypermedia actually is based on feedback. I should probably have a different title/description to better set expectations. As for a objects in a client library, that's a long, interesting discussion worth having. :)
Thanks again, everyone! I really appreciate your input.
My favorite talk of the conference, probably because the subject interested me, and the content was at my level. I am not sure if Corey coded those 3 apps specifically for this talk, but you can tell a lot of work was put on it. Possibly the demos would have had more impact if the network access was setup correctly. Giving out small prizes for question is a great idea as well. Overall very well done.
Love this! I wish we had a larger crowd for more questions, but Cal did a great job keeping the content flowing. These types of discussions are some of the most valuable parts of a conference where real-world experts (and yes, I think I'm using that word accurately here) are available to answer anything you can throw at them.
I love it.
Amazing talk, Keith. I hope everyone really thinks about what you presented. My hunch is, it won't quite hit them until a year or two later. I'm still thinking about it, for sure.
Oh, and thanks for adding our unicorn. I bet most people were like, WAT???
Thanks for working so hard on such a useful tool and for sharing a little bit of that world with us. I think composer will be an important advancement for PHP noted in its history. I enjoyed the talk. Might have been fun to try a live demo also.
I came for the Ember.js part and it was a bit difficult to understand it all. That said, I probably shouldn't have expected an "intro to Ember.js" talk. You had a lot of great content, but it was probably better suited for a tutorial based on how much you wanted to cover and the time you had to do it. Truly ambitious though, which is why I think it deserves 4 thumbs.
Great talk Cal! I've seen it twice now and I was inspired both times to get more involved.
Great talk and greatly appreciated. I've got a bunch of great notes from this talk that I'll start using regularly.
Great content, even if some of the advice is abusing Twig and doing too much work in the View layer. I'm glad you prefaced those sections with CAUTION statements. As others said, pacing was a bit fast for how advanced the talk was, but will be easy to review with slides.
