As a developer I consumed a lot of good and bad APIs over the past years but must admit I haven't really thought about the process of creating and documenting it. This talk was full of new information for me with some interesting references to Star Wars.

Thank you Boyan, it was a pleasure to see this talk.

Very interesting presentation of describing and linking data on web and how truthness and (in)completeness of it influence our interpretation. I love the examples and must disagree with Trump.

Great talk. Thank you Arnout for presenting it.

Wonderful beginning of community gathering. Welcoming for new attendees and heartwarming recall for old friends meeting again. I enjoyed it very much.

I've seen this talk once but it was every bit as impressive if not more this time around! I can only hope that one day I'll also be able to deliver a performance like this!

It's amazing how Cal has turned a very simple joke into a fun and engaging lesson about what it means to be a leader. Every word, every slide, every movement was thought out and enacted with absolute precision.

Definitely a suitable closing keynote for such a great event!

For a first conference talk Viktor did a very good job! The information was great and well presented, the examples were well thought out.

My only complaint are the occasional switches from dark to white slides which wasn't that great in a darker room like we had, but that's easy to fix for next time. And I liked how at some point he turned it into a joke which worked really well for me. Great improvisation there!

Nice introduction to the language, I especially liked the parallels to PHP.
I had no idea that Lua can be used with Nginx which definitely opens some possibilities.

On top of that Luka's presentation style is also engaging and easy to follow!

Always good to see actual scientific research being presented at a conference like this!
What Lyubo is doing is probably a bit too complicated for me and my current cryptographic knowledge but it was still very interesting to see and he managed to explain everything clearly and with enough detail.

And again I would gladly watch a talk just for the struggles with the extension and running C and Assembly code from it.

Nice overview of transforming an existing processes to a more manageable pipeline.
It would've being nice to give a few concrete examples and drop into a little more detail for things like feature flags.

However the core message is more important for me and it was definitely there!

Short and sweet! Cal managed to explain what the WordPress REST API is all about while injecting general tips about APIs and how to work with them.
The technical difficulties we had didn't startle him one bit and he even turned them into jokes.

A full table of gadgets that can be controlled from the browser via new Web standards - very impressive. Yes, some demos didn't work but since the APIs for a lot of things are very new that is to be expected. He handled the cases where things didn't work as planned very well and managed to move on without any trouble.
