Talk comments

Simple overview - which was what was promised. The pace of the talk was a little slow so it ran over and by the end I was starting to drift.

However it was good talk and some of the ZF 2 improvements will be most welcome.

Really enjoyed this talk, the content was very good, and the speaker did a great job.
If I had one criticism it would be that you just need to speak a little louder.

It'll be damned difficult to very convince a client to use something other than Google - but the was a cool talk. I was impressed by the demos and just how fast they were returning and displaying map markers.

Loads of energy from Cal as always. You just know it wouldn't matter what the content is - if Cal is gong to deliver it, you will pay attention and enjoy it.

It amazes me that someone with such really bad jokes can be so humorous.

The large text on plain white slides was really easy to read, especially for code samples.

Excellent speaker to open an event. His witty talk and mannerisms are a good way to break the ice before going into the more technical talks.

Excellent idea to drop it in uncon.

Very good presentation, excellent content, felt a bit like a tutorial

Interesting and useful checklist on tackling this subject, may turn into a cheatsheet. I'd suggest a bit more refinement and maybe some diagrams.

Good choice for a closing keynote - not heavy technical stuff, but more business related concepts that are valuable for developers to take away with them. Can't fault the delivery, his conviction comes across clearly. As he clearly stated, not everyone will agree with his points and that actually meant to sparked off some interesting discussion in the airport later on.

As entertaining as educational.
