Good, very informative talk for those new to the Silex framework. I perhaps would have chosen an example which more strongly demonstrates Silex's strengths and original intended use-case (small, simple, restful web services, according Igor during the Q&A).
Harrie presented very well and provided clear and concise examples of smelly code and how it could be improved; the subject an be quite dry but he managed to infuse the talk with some humour and good references and quotes and he covered SOLID, an acronym I'd not heard before.
I could easily see how his talk could lead to an introduction on Object Calisthenics.
Good talk - would have liked to spend more time on it.
Yes, very nervous. Very hard to deliver in a foreign language.
Too much 'er', 'um' and pauses.
The main point was often unclear.
A good first try though.
Great talk, and very informative for developers of all experience levels. As others have mentioned, the live demos went smoothly, and the presentation was clearly well planned and rehearsed.
As others have said, a bit fast-paced - but better too much info than too little - can always go back through the slides here - good talk.
Very informative introduction to ZF2 concepts for those familiar with ZF1. The analogies and comparison made were clear and accurate.
Top talk - first on my list to take some action on when I get back to the office. Thanks
This guy is talented, humorous and has given the PHP Community a stick to hit Javascript developers with when they mention how great Node.js is.
Avast!
Joshuas talk I felt aimed at those with better server admin skills than I possess, but terms and tools that I'd not heard before, I managed to understand likely due to Joshuas thorough explanations. I came away a little more informed about the tools I can use as a developer to debug my applications.
